About Notes Harbor

We write in Arabic and keep the medical terms in English. Understanding in your own language should not mean learning a different word from the one in the patient's notes, or translating twice before you act.

And everything we build answers one question: what will you do when you are standing in front of the patient? So an explanation leads to a decision, a question carries a rationale, and an exercise comes from a situation you may actually meet. That is the test we hold our material to.

How we write the content

• We start from the situation, not the definition. An idea is explained because you will need it in a decision, and you are told when to use it.
• Every question carries a rationale. A correct answer on its own teaches nothing.
• We pick the form that fits the idea: a short text, an image, an interactive activity, a case. Not one template for everything.
• Medical terms stay in English, the way you will meet them in a lecture and in the notes, with the explanation around them in Arabic.

Who we are

Notes Harbor is an Arabic team working in nursing education. We build the platform and write its material, we review what we publish before it goes out, and we correct it when someone tells us it is incomplete or wrong. If you find a mistake, tell us. That is the fastest way it gets fixed.
